Boron Nitride Layers

Graphite parts coated by pyrolytic boron nitride PBN layer

Protective PBN layers of high purity are deposited on graphite substrates, the typical thickness of the layer is in the range of 0,1 – 0,2 mm. This deposition of PBN creates a thin ceramic layer with excellent mechanical, electrical and thermal attributes and brings super surface chemical stability at a difficult high-temperature environment.

PBN coated parts are especially used in scientific research & development, high-tech machines, crystal growth equipment and other.

The main advantage of this technology is the ability to create perfectly chemical inert parts of complex shapes, which are impossible to produce from the PBN itself, and these parts could be applied in the areas where the simple non coated graphite cannot be used.
